Chess

Last week, Langton Chess took to the road again. The destination this time was the prestigious and magnificent venue of Dulwich College, to play in an interschool blitz tournament. Blitz chess requires fast thinking, fast hands, and nerves of steel, as you only have 5 minutes to play all of your moves. Our A team finished 4th in the tournament, and our B team can in 6th. Top performers for the Langton were Oscar (3.5 out of 6) and Bohdan (3 out of 6). Many thanks to Mrs Wells for driving the bus, and to Dulwich College for being excellent hosts.

Next up: the qualifiers for the National Schools Championship, and the much-anticipated return of Interhouse Chess!
