What is an In Year Admission?

If you wish to transfer your child from his current school to the Langton you need to submit an In Year Admission Form to Kent County Council. You can download this form from here. This form must be returned to the address shown at the top of the form – not to the school

Once you have applied you should hear from the Kent Council within 3 or 4 weeks. However there could be some delays. If you wish to check on your application please feel free to contact their admissions department.
If you live outside of Kent you will need to apply to your own Local Authority for an In Year Admission. Please note that Medway, Bexley and Bromley Councils do not come under the authority of Kent County Council.
As the Langton is heavily oversubscribed it is unlikely that we will be able to offer a place at the school and it may be necessary for you to make an appeal to an independent panel. Please contact Susan Begg at the school for more information about this process.
